My wellness journey began far from the clinic. It started in the Himalayas — where I first learned that
real strength isn’t built in the gym, but in how we recover, breathe, and adapt.
After more than two decades teaching hatha yoga, and guiding dozens of mountaineering expeditions, I saw one truth repeated everywhere: high performers — whether athletes or executives — don’t fail from lack of effort, but from
lack of recovery.
Exercise science has matured over decades, but
recovery science is still learning to walk. It's just emerging, really. Recovery is what we have to master before we can even start to talk about longevity and biohacking.
What’s the point of a lower number on the scale, faster race times, heavier lifts, or even a six-pack — if you’re living with
constant pain, feeling it grow each year, and becoming more emotionally fragile, just waiting for that
midlife crisis to hit?
I’ve spent years in focused study and clinical practice as a dietitian and sports nutritionist, guiding hundreds of clients to successful outcomes — all to understand
recovery at a level most GPs never reach.
Today, through
Recovery Harbour, I bring together the science of sports nutrition and modern coaching techniques — including motivational interviewing — with the timeless practices of nervous system regulation I learned in India and Nepal in the 2000s through yoga and breath mastery.
My goal is to help YOU stay focused, resilient, and calm under pressure — without extremes or guesswork.
